Wonnacott Commons - Middlebury College, Vermont

For a number of years Erica Wonnacott was the Dean at Middlebury College, Vermont until she retired in 1988.
In 1989 she was awarded an honoury degree from the University and one of the student residential clusters (commons) was named in her honour as "Wonnacott Commons" .

Erica had been married to Bruce Wonnacott who had previously passed away in 1978 after suffering from brain cancer.

Erica and Bruce had four children , Enid, Robin, Megan and Kim.

Erica passed away on March 9th 2002 after a long battle fighting cancer herself .

Her daughter Enid is also well known for her work in organic farming and bee-keeping.
